Eventually, Ever After
"Eventually, Ever After" made and directed by choreographer Sarah Wildes Arnett, is about all the fairytail characters coming together to escape from the Big Bad Wolf and Cinderella's evil step sisters. The characters [The White Rabbit, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Handsel, Gretel and the Mad Hatter] find in the end that the Big Bad Wolf and the step sisters were only upset because they were not invited to the Mad Hatter's tea party. All of the fairy tail characters used pantomime and dance to move the story line along. Each character represented different styles of dance. Mad Hatter's dance style was jazz, Cinderella's style was ballet, and The Big Bad Wolf's style was modern. I played the role of Little Red Riding Hood, who was a spunky girl who's style of dance was hip hop just like the white rabbit. This children's tour went all over elementary and middle schools in the state of Georgia in 2014. This Tour taught me about working together with different personalities and to always expect the unexpected when working around kids.
